6.5 Grendel
AR-15 · Caliber
6.5 Grendel
Long-range and hunting performance in an AR-15. More bullet and better ballistics than 5.56 without moving to an AR-10. Built in Alexandria, Minnesota. Lifetime warranty.

Role
Hunting / DMR
Deer, hogs, and steel at distances where 5.56 is out of its depth — still on an AR-15 lower. |
Ballistics
6.5, proven
High-BC 6.5mm bullets. Less drop and wind than 5.56 at 400–800 yards when the shooter does their part. |
Mags / bolt
Dedicated parts
AR-15 lower. Use 6.5 Grendel magazines and the correct bolt. Do not assume 5.56 mags will feed it. |
APF builds
Varmint, DMR, Elite
AR-15 Varmint 2.0™, DMR 2.0™, Elite LPR, and complete uppers. In-house. Lifetime warranty. |
