I bought the Econo from Sportsmans Guide Outlet four days ago. I had heard of APF before but wasn't really familiar with them or their product. I have had no hands on experience with the AR platform other than reading so I bought the gun on the recommendation of the people there, the Wylde barrel, and the price with the Vortex sight. Figured I couldn't really go wrong but was unsure how the gun would shoot.
I bought six different types of ammo and picked up two more before heading to the outdoor range today. I had to an indoor range and broke the gun in a few days before but the range was only 20 yds so no chance of accuracy testing etc... Out of the eight types of ammo I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it shot 3 very well. Norma TAC 223 match 55 g , Hornady Black 556 62g, and Hornady Black 223 62g. While not always under an inch at 100 yds they shot well enough that I have confidence that the groups will improve and that the potential is there.
For the first time shooting an AR and not being used to the trigger ( pretty decent trigger more so off the reset) I think it did very well. I have a 5-15 Bushnell Legend with a mildot reticle on it that may stay on if for a while, at least until I find the right ammo. I didn't have any failures of any kind and couldn't be happier with the gun.

Bought from Sportsman's Guide on sale, With Vortex scope a no brainer. Excellent finish, took 6 shots to zero at 50 yrds. Now looking at the 300 aac. Requested info on gas block height and construction and timely response. As said, SWEET.

I've been shopping around for an "entry level" AR-15. I made a list of what I wanted in an "out of the box" rifle and this one fit most of what was on my list without modification. I took it to the range, the optics were fantastic and the rifle had no malfunctions. Great quality Rifle, good fit-up of parts. This was the best value I could find in an AR without either building one (even then I don't think I could have beat this price by much) or giving up more of the options that I wanted. I only shot it at a short target range just to put something thought it and dial in the Red/Green Dot scope and it shot accurately. Can't wait to get it in a 200-300 yard target range to really put it through the paces. I'm happy to be an Alex Pro Firearms customer!

I bought this recently and couldn't be more impressed with a gun in this price range. The fit and finish are top notch. The Magpul MOE forgrip enables you to add all kinds of attachments without having to buy an expensive aftermarket rail. Right out of the box I was hitting beer cans at 25-30 yards without making any adjustments. Before buying the gun I called APF and the gentleman I spoke with answered all of my questions and made me feel that they truly put out a quality gun and stand behind their product. I highly recommend this gun!
Great gun,great price

I have been a shooter most of my 65 years but never owned an AR. A friend told me to find one and I would not regret it. Well, found this APF econo with red dot about 6 months ago and can't stop grinning. I've put about 1000 rounds through it without an issue. Breaking clays at 80 yards is easy. Just wish I had 100/150 yard range.

Great AR. Out of box on target. Small adjustment and I'm a go.I love mine and can't say enough what a great experience it is firing this on the back lot.I am almost 80 and can't remember if it's as good as sex, but will tell you when I have that experience again.

Bought myself one of these econo carbine rifle and i'm quit impressed.Being a 223 WYLDE it shoots the 5.56 as well. It's a great starter gun, there's a lot u can do with it. Shoots great the optics r sick I can pick off clay pigeon from well over 100 yards consistently, has both red and green dot sights that adjust in size witch really helps with long shots (you can really dial down the size of that dot). Have has nothin but compliments, nobody can believe the price even other gun stores r impressed with price. Great gun very pleased with my purchase. And I never write reviews if that tells ya anything.
